Skiathos – an island in the western part of the Aegean Sea, in the Northern Sporades archipelago. Administratively, Skiathos is the municipality of Skiathos, which, together with the municipalities of Alonissos and Skopelos, has been co-creating the Sporades regional unit since 2011, belonging to the Thessaly region, in the decentralized administration of Thessaly-Central Greece.

SKIATHOS

The most cosmopolitan island
in the Northern Sporades, it is a real paradise on earth,
with lush pine forests
and crystal clear azure waters.

If you are afraid of seasickness, you can get here by plane.

The island is picturesque, pristine and blessed with over 60 beautiful, crystal clear waters and beaches.

The most famous is Koukounaries, which is considered the third most beautiful beach in the Mediterranean. If we add a vibrant nightlife to this, it’s natural that the island attracts thousands of young tourists every year!

The capital city of Skiathos has excellent tourist facilities. The town is relatively new. A stroll through the city’s cobbled streets reveals quaint white houses with red tile roofs and colorful gardens

The picturesque port surrounded by four small islands is a sight you cannot forget.

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit Bourtzi, a small peninsula with lush vegetation where the ruins of a Venetian fortress still stand. Today it is one of the most romantic places in Skiathos thanks to its densely planted pine trees
and wonderful views of the archipelago.
